Hells Canyon (Aratso Canyon)
Hells Canyon located near the border of Nakhichevan, in the south-east of Ararat province Armenia. There is the river Aratso. Aratso River starts from the slopes of Gndasar Mountains, running through the south-eastern part of Urts Mountain Range it flows to Araks River. The canyon is considered one of the most beautiful in Armenia, but difficult to cross. The slopes are bare, rocky and steep. There are many karst caves and cavities. The place is convenient for climbing.
