Alashkert Guest House and national restaurant

Just recently, the Alashkert Guest House, which is located in the Ararat region,in the village of Vedi, opened its doors. The opening was attended by the Tourism Federation of Armenia and leading tour operators. The opening was accompanied with a small show program and Armenian folk dances. At the ceremony were demonstrated, degustation of home-made wine and vodka with aromas of Armenian fruits, a master class of baking lavash and tasting various Armenian traditional dishes. One of the most important dishes is Alashkert Kufta (Korkot), which is prepared according to a special recipe.
